European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants 2026 evaluation panel

We are pleased to share that Professor Ali Benmakhlouf, Director of the Center for African Studies (CAS) and the Arabic Classical Philosophy and Philosophy of Sciences (ACPPS) at UM6P, has been selected to join the European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants 2026 evaluation panel, within the panel SH5 – Texts and Concepts.

The European Research Council (ERC) is one of the most prestigious research funding bodies in Europe, supporting frontier research based solely on scientific excellence. Its evaluation panels bring together leading scholars and scientists from across disciplines.

This invitation reflects Professor Benmakhlouf’s academic standing and contribution to the humanities, as well as the growing international recognition of research at CAS at UM6P.
