Geology: Light on the history of Sijilmasa

On Wednesday 17th May, the Center for African Studies (CAS) was pleased to host Prof. Mustapha Souhassou from the Faculty of Geology at Ibn Zohr Taroudant University, to deliver a lecture entitled “Geology: Light on the history of Sijilmasa”.

Pr. Souhassou discussed the role of Geology in the economic history of Morocco, and the importance of mines in that history.
