CAS welcomed Prof Yolaine Parisot from the University of Paris-Est Créteil to discuss “Reading the African novel as a fiction of connected history.” In this talk, Pr. Parisot considered how a number of contemporary French-language African novels question the relationship between literature and the outside world through a critical re-reading of epistemologies.
